Job Description

Schneider Electric is in search of an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment is installed, tested and commissioned safely and efficiently. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and hands-on experience who is eager to take on new challenges.To be successful in this position, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role. You must also have an in-depth understanding of electrical systems, installation and commissioning procedures as well as the ability to read and understand technical drawings. Additionally, you must be able to effectively communicate with other teams and take initiative in problem-solving.If you are a motivated and experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer who is passionate about bringing the best solutions to our customers, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install and test electrical equipment according to industry safety regulations and standards.
  2. Commission all electrical systems safely and efficiently.
  3. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  4. Carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems.
  5. Liaise with other teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
  6. Monitor and evaluate performance of electrical systems.
  7. Develop and implement commissioning plans.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  9. Take initiative to identify potential problems and develop solutions.
  10. Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
