
Drives System Application Engineer
At Schneider Electric, we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Drives System Application Engineer to join our team and help create and implement innovative solutions. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering and automation of motor drives and related control systems. In addition to their technical knowledge, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. They will also be expected to have a good understanding of the principles underlying motor drives and control systems.We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and has a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical drive and control systems for motor drives and other automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug system issues related to motor drives and control systems.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to create and implement innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and colleagues.
- Develop and maintain excellent technical knowledge of motor drives and control systems.
- Collaborate with team members to develop, enhance, and improve product performance.
- Monitor performance and performance metrics to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members.
- Ensure the highest level of safety and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Excellent Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering
Ability To Read And Interpret Electrical Schematics
Demonstrated Experience In Motion Control And/Or Drives Applications
Knowledge Of Ethernet/Ip
Profibus
And Other Industrial Communication Protocols
Ability To Analyze Complex Technical Problems
Ability To Program And Debug Motion Control And Drive Systems
