  1. Design and develop automation systems for HVAC equipment, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of the design process.
  2. Install and configure automation systems, including all necessary hardware and software components.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
  4. Regularly maintain and update automation systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  5. Collaborate with HVAC Design team to understand and meet project requirements and timelines.
  6. Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies related to automation systems and HVAC equipment.
  8. Document all design, installation, and maintenance processes and procedures for future reference.
  9. Comply with all safety regulations and procedures while working on automation systems.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates, reports, and recommendations on automation systems.
  11. Provide training and support to clients and colleagues on using and maintaining automation systems.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.
  13. Represent Schneider Electric and its values in a positive and professional manner.
  14. Continuously strive for innovation and improvement in automation processes and systems.
  15. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HVAC Design team.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Hvac Design And Automation Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Hvac Design And Automation Systems, Including Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices.

  • Proficiency In Cad Software: As An Automation Technician, Familiarity With Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software Is Essential For Creating And Modifying Hvac Designs.

  • Knowledge Of Building Automation Protocols: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Building Automation Protocols Such As Bacnet, Lonworks, And Modbus To Effectively Integrate Hvac Systems With Other Building Systems.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As An Automation Technician, The Ability To Identify And Resolve Technical Issues In A Timely Manner Is Crucial For Maintaining The Functionality Of Hvac Systems.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Independently: This Role Requires Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Efficient Hvac Designs. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Work Independently And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
