
Automation Technician
Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automation Technician to join our team. The Automation Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of automated systems. The ideal candidate must possess the technical knowledge and skills necessary to manage the automated systems and ensure they are running efficiently and effectively. The Automation Technician will bring a passionate, innovative, and collaborative approach to their work. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the installation and maintenance of automated systems, a technical college diploma or equivalent experience, and the ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions and troubleshoot issues are essential. The Automation Technician will also need to be able to read and interpret technical schematics, drawings, and manuals. The successful candidate should possess the ability to work with a diverse team of stakeholders and the initiative to stay current with the latest technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems
- Develop and update technical schematics, drawings, and manuals
- Diagnose and repair technical problems
- Follow technical instructions and troubleshoot issues
- Work independently and with a diverse team of stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest automated systems technologies
- Ensure automated systems are running efficiently and effectively
- Provide technical and engineering support as needed
- Monitor system performance and adjust settings as necessary
- Document all repair and maintenance activities
