Handle and move materials in a safe and efficient manner within the Schneider Electric facility.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport materials throughout the facility.
Receive, verify, and record incoming materials and products according to company procedures.
Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling materials and operating equipment.
Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the material handling process and report them to management.
Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in material handling procedures.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure the smooth flow of materials and timely completion of tasks.
Attend training sessions and stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work culture within the team.
Assist in other tasks and projects as needed to support the overall success of the company.

Job Qualifications

Experience With Automated Storage And Retrieval Systems (Asrs): An Ideal Candidate For An Ats Material Handler Job At Schneider Electric Should Have Prior Experience Working With Asrs Technology. This Includes Knowledge Of How To Operate, Maintain, Troubleshoot, And Optimize Asrs Systems For Efficient Material Handling.
Proficiency In Warehouse Management Systems (Wms): A Strong Understanding Of Wms Software Is Essential For An Ats Material Handler. This Includes The Ability To Use Wms To Track Inventory, Process Orders, And Manage Material Flow Within The Facility.
Forklift And/Or Reach Truck Certification: As An Ats Material Handler, Being Able To Safely Operate Forklifts And Reach Trucks Is Crucial. Candidates Should Have A Certification From A Recognized Training Program And Be Able To Demonstrate Their Skills In Maneuvering And Handling Various Types Of Materials.
Knowledge Of Material Handling Equipment: In Addition To Forklifts And Reach Trucks, An Ats Material Handler Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Other Types Of Material Handling Equipment Such As Conveyors, Pallet Jacks, And Cranes. This Includes Understanding How To Safely Use, Maintain, And Troubleshoot These Machines.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Material Handling Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy Objects For Extended Periods. Candidates For An Ats Material Handler Job Should Be In Good Physical Condition And Have The Stamina To Perform These Tasks Safely And Efficiently.
