  1. Develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks for software products.
  2. Lead and manage a team of test automation engineers.
  3. Identify and prioritize areas for automation based on risk and impact analysis.
  4. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test cases.
  5. Perform regular reviews and updates of existing automation scripts.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing efforts with development and release timelines.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  8. Conduct regular training and knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices in test automation.
  9. Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools.
  10. Monitor and analyze test results to identify and report defects and issues.
  11. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve automation failures.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in test automation.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on test automation for the organization.
  14. Create and maintain documentation related to test automation processes and procedures.
  15. Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
  16. Communicate progress and status updates to project stakeholders.
  17. Ensure that all automated tests are reliable, maintainable, and reusable.
  18. Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks and challenges in test automation.
  19. Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and knowledge in test automation.
  20. Drive continuous improvement in the overall quality and efficiency of the testing process.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Test Automation: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Implementing And Managing Test Automation Frameworks And Tools. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Automation Tools And Technologies Such As Selenium, Cucumber, Or Appium.

  • Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading A Team Of Test Automation Engineers. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage The Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Agile Methodologies: Schlumberger Follows Agile Methodologies For Software Development, And The Test Automation Lead Should Have A Good Understanding Of Agile Principles And Practices. They Should Be Able To Work In An Agile Environment And Lead The Team To Deliver High-Quality Automation Solutions.

  • Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Software Development And Testing. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Various Programming Languages Like Java, Python, Or C#, As Well As Experience In Using Version Control Systems Like Git.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Test Automation Lead Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Issues In The Automation Framework. They Should Also Be Able To Develop And Implement Effective Solutions To Improve The Automation Process And Increase Efficiency.
