- Conduct digital forensic investigations and analysis to identify potential security breaches and data breaches.
- Develop and maintain procedures for collecting, analyzing, and preserving digital evidence.
- Utilize various forensic tools and techniques to extract and analyze data from electronic devices.
- Generate detailed reports and documentation of forensic findings and present them to relevant parties.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Stay up-to-date with latest industry trends and developments in digital forensics and security.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other IT and security teams.
- Participate in incident response activities and assist with remediation efforts.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for employees on best practices for data protection and security.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing forensic processes and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data and adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams as needed for investigations and legal proceedings.
- Work closely with other IT teams to implement security measures and controls to prevent future incidents.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all forensic activities and evidence.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In It Forensics, Preferably In A Corporate Or Government Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Computer Hardware And Software, Operating Systems, Network Protocols, And Data Recovery Techniques.
Proficiency In Industry Standard Forensic Tools Such As Encase, Ftk, And Cellebrite.
Certification In Computer Forensics, Such As Certified Computer Examiner (Cce), Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (Cfce), Or Encase Certified Examiner (Ence).
