IoT Software Engineer

Design and develop software solutions to enable connectivity and control of sensors and actuators at the Edge. Establish prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing, and set up and run lab simulations and/or field deployment. Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, software for Edge Computing and Public Cloud hosted applications. Work with internal and external customers, frequently unsupervised, using their business knowledge and experience to elaborate requirements, recommend solution architectures and develop plans to meet the requirements and then deliver on those plans. Evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce development plans that ensure high-quality, low-cost products and systems. Ensure best practices of Agile software development and DevSecOps. Consolidate and manage data from multiple sources with new and legacy industrial protocols. Recognize possible opportunities for technology or business, for the company, and advocate for them by discussions with peers, managers and submitting patent memos.
