Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Drilling Engineer to join our Schlumberger team. In this role, you will be in charge of all drilling operations and will be responsible for scheduling and executing efficient drilling plans.You should have an engineering or science degree with at least 5 years of experience in oilfield drilling operations, including knowledge of well completion and well testing. An ideal candidate is someone who is a team-player, highly organized, and able to coordinate with other departments while keeping safety and environmental regulations in mind. Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute efficient drilling operations according to safety and environmental regulations.
  2. Coordinate with other departments to ensure successful drilling operations.
  3. Make decisions independently and provide solutions to address problems.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  5. Monitor and communicate the progress of drilling operations.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with drilling personnel and vendors.
  7. Manage drilling budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness of operations.
  8. Supervise the maintenance and repair of drilling tools and equipment.
  9. Review and analyze drilling reports and data to identify potential improvements.
  10. Monitor industry trends and identify new technology to improve drilling operations.
