Loss Prevention Investigator

Scheels All Sports is searching for an experienced and motivated Loss Prevention Investigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong investigative and analytical skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. This individual will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing potential loss of company assets and intellectual property.The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field. Responsibilities:

1. Identify and investigate potential losses of company assets and intellectual property.
2. Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies.
3. Analyze data to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
4. Monitor alarms, CCTV systems, and other security systems.
5. Investigate suspicious activity and take appropriate action.
6. Create and maintain detailed reports of investigations.
7. Maintain a strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
8. Develop relationships with local law enforcement and other security professionals.
9. Provide training and guidance to store personnel on loss prevention procedures.
10. Monitor store operations for compliance with loss prevention policies.
