Loss Prevention Investigator

Scheels All Sports is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Loss Prevention Investigator to join our team. As an integral part of the Loss Prevention team, the Loss Prevention Investigator will be responsible for detecting and preventing loss of merchandise and assets in our stores. The ideal candidate should possess excellent observation, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently. We are seeking a Loss Prevention Investigator who is customer focused, detail-oriented and has the ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with difficult situations.The successful candidate should have prior Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment, a working knowledge of Loss Prevention techniques and investigative procedures, and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor store activity to identify potential theft or fraudulent activities.
2. Investigate incidents of theft or other suspicious activities, and take appropriate action.
3. Develop and implement strategies to prevent loss of merchandise and assets.
4. Utilize surveillance systems and other resources to detect and deter theft.
5. Prepare detailed reports of investigations and submit them to the Loss Prevention Manager.
6. Provide customer service support to store personnel and customers.
7. Respond to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
8. Keep abreast of current loss prevention trends and technologies.
9. Maintain confidentiality of investigations and store information.
10. Adhere to all applicable laws and company policies and procedures.
