Loss Prevention Investigator

At Scheels All Sports, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Investigator to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and have a keen eye for suspicious behavior. This individual must possess excellent investigative, communication, and customer service skills. Our Loss Prevention Investigator will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff, as well as preventing shoplifting and other forms of theft. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team and must have a professional attitude, be highly organized, and be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks.To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of loss prevention experience, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to successfully pass a background check. Responsibilites:

1. Monitor customer activity to detect and prevent shoplifting or other forms of theft.
2. Investigate incidents of theft and document findings.
3. Liaise with law enforcement officials as needed.
4. Utilize surveillance equipment, such as cameras and alarms, to monitor activity.
5. Remain alert and aware of any suspicious behavior.
6. Escort suspected shoplifters off the premises as needed.
7. Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in any way possible.
8. Maintain high standards of security and safety in the store.
9. Assist in training new staff on loss prevention procedures and policies.
10. Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with store policies and procedures.
