Cashier

Scheels All Sports is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately ringing up customer purchases and collecting payment. To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent interpersonal skills, a desire to provide outstanding customer service, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
2. Accurately ring up customer purchases and collect payment.
3. Count money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
4. Answer customer inquiries regarding store services and product information.
5. Bag customer purchases and provide change and receipts as necessary.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
8. Follow all safety and security procedures as outlined by the company.
9. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
10. Remain flexible to meet the needs of the store.
