We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our Vocational Training Program as an Intern in the role of Developer for our Database Core Kernel 4 team.   1. Assist in developing and maintaining the Database Core Kernel 4 for SAP's enterprise software.
  2. Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  3. Debug and troubleshoot issues in the software and provide solutions.
  4. Conduct research and provide recommendations for improving the software.
  5. Work on real-world projects and contribute to the overall development of the software.
  6. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  7. Learn and apply new technologies and programming languages as needed.
  8. Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality code.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
  10. Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through training and self-study.

  13. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Skills: Candidates Should Possess A Solid Understanding Of Database Core Kernel 4 And Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Java, And C++. They Should Also Have Experience With Database Management Systems Like Oracle, Sql Server, Or Sap Hana.

  • Knowledge Of Software Development Principles: Interns Should Have A Good Understanding Of Software Development Principles And Methodologies, Including Agile And Waterfall. They Should Also Be Familiar With Object-Oriented Programming And Design Patterns.

  • Analytical Thinking: The Ability To Analyze Complex Problems And Develop Innovative Solutions Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Able To Use Logical Reasoning And Critical Thinking To Troubleshoot And Optimize Database Performance.

  • Team Player: As An Intern At Sap, Candidates Will Work Closely With A Team Of Experienced Developers. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Others.

  • Education And Experience: To Be Eligible For The Vt/Star Program, Candidates Must Be 2026/2027 Graduates From A Vocational Training Program Or Equivalent. They Should Also Have Relevant Coursework Or Experience In Database Development And Be Motivated To Continue Learning And Growing Their Skills.
