  1. Develop user assistance content for SAP software solutions, including user guides, online help, tutorials, and videos.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and ensure user assistance materials align with product functionality and design.
  3. Conduct thorough research and gather feedback from users to continuously improve and update user assistance materials.
  4. Ensure user assistance materials are accurate, clear, and easy to understand for a global audience.
  5. Adhere to SAP's style and branding guidelines to maintain consistency across all user assistance materials.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert on SAP software and provide guidance and support to team members and other departments.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user assistance development and incorporate them into SAP's user assistance strategy.
  8. Work closely with product development teams to provide input on user experience design and ensure user assistance is integrated seamlessly into the product.
  9. Participate in user testing and usability studies to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in user assistance materials.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze user assistance metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of user assistance on user satisfaction and adoption of SAP software.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Sap Software: A User Assistance Developer At Sap Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Sap Software, Including Its Customization And Localization Capabilities. This Includes Expertise In Sap Globalization Tools Such As Sap Translation Hub And Sap Language Services.

  • Proficiency In Technical Writing: As A User Assistance Developer, One Must Possess Excellent Technical Writing Skills To Create User-Friendly And Comprehensive Documentation For Sap Products. This Includes The Ability To Write In Both English And At Least One Other Language.

  • Experience In Internationalization And Localization: A Strong Understanding Of Internationalization And Localization Concepts Is Crucial For A User Assistance Developer At Sap. This Includes Knowledge Of Language And Cultural Differences, As Well As A Deep Understanding Of The Localization Process.

  • Knowledge Of User Assistance Development Tools: A User Assistance Developer Must Be Proficient In Using Authoring Tools And Content Management Systems Such As Adobe Framemaker, Xml, And Html. They Must Also Have Experience With Graphics And Multimedia Software For Creating Visual Aids And Training Materials.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: A User Assistance Developer Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Product Managers, And Subject Matter Experts. They Must Also Have Strong Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively In A Global And Diverse Environment.
