  1. Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge cloud infrastructure for the Sovereign Cloud platform.
  2. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the Sovereign Cloud platform through continuous monitoring and automation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DevOps best practices and standards.
  4. Lead the development and maintenance of automated deployment and testing processes.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in the cloud infrastructure, and provide timely resolutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in DevOps and cloud computing, and incorporate them into the existing infrastructure.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  8. Mentor and train junior DevOps team members.
  9. Participate in on-call rotation and handle critical incidents as needed.
  10. Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new applications and services on the Sovereign Cloud platform.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps team.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure and any potential issues or concerns.
  13. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures in all aspects of cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
  14. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the future growth and scalability of the Sovereign Cloud platform.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Cloud Computing: A Senior Devops Engineer At Sap Should Have A Strong Background In Cloud Computing, Including Experience With Major Cloud Providers Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency In Devops Tools And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Devops Tools Such As Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, And Jenkins, As Well As Agile Methodologies, To Support The Development And Deployment Of Cloud-Based Applications.

  • Knowledge Of Sap Technologies: As A Leading Enterprise Software Company, Sap Values Candidates With Knowledge And Experience In Their Core Technologies, Including Sap Hana, Sap S/4Hana, And Sap Cloud Platform.

  • Strong Scripting And Automation Skills: Automation Is A Key Aspect Of Devops, And A Senior Devops Engineer Should Have Strong Scripting Skills In Languages Such As Python, Powershell, Or Bash, To Automate Processes And Tasks.

  • Team Leadership And Collaboration: In Addition To Technical Skills, A Senior Devops Engineer At Sap Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Operations, And Quality Assurance Teams, To Drive Successful Projects And Initiatives.
