  1. Develop and maintain ABAP release engineering processes to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of SAP solutions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance the ABAP release process.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP BASIS and ABAP release engineering.
  4. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  5. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in the SAP ecosystem.
  6. Develop and implement best practices for ABAP release engineering.
  7. Conduct regular system audits and propose improvements for optimization.
  8. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  9. Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  10. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  11. Participate in the planning and execution of major SAP releases and upgrades.
  12. Mentor and train junior team members on SAP BASIS and ABAP release engineering.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues.
  14. Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and technical configurations.
  15. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in ABAP release engineering processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Sap Basis: A Senior Technical Engineer For Sap Basis- Abap Release Engineering Services Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Working With Sap Basis, Including Installation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of Sap Systems. This Experience Should Also Include Expertise In Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Abap: A Senior Technical Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Abap Programming Language, Including Development, Debugging, And Performance Tuning. This Knowledge Is Essential For Effectively Managing And Optimizing The Abap Stack In Sap Systems.

  • Hands-On Experience With Release Engineering: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Hands-On Experience With Sap Release Engineering Processes, Including Performing System Upgrades, Applying Support Packages, And Managing Transports. This Experience Should Also Include Knowledge Of Change Management Processes And Tools.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Technical Engineer, The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically To Find Solutions To Problems.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Senior Technical Engineer Is Expected To Work Closely With Different Teams, Including Developers, System Administrators, And Business Users.
