  1. Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the SAP HANA database system.
  2. Monitor the performance of the database and proactively identify and resolve any issues.
  3. Optimize database performance by implementing best practices and making necessary adjustments.
  4. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for the database.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and updates in SAP HANA database technology.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert for SAP HANA database administration and provide guidance to team members.
  8. Implement security protocols to protect the database and ensure data integrity.
  9. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for database administration.
  10. Participate in database upgrades and migrations as needed.
  11. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for database support and maintenance.
  12. Train and mentor junior database administrators.
  13. Continuously monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
  14. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and optimize the database accordingly.
  15. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
