Are you a highly skilled Quality Specialist with experience in automation and a passion for ensuring top-notch product quality? Look no further! We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to join our team at SAP, specifically for our API Platform within the SAP Integration Suite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and executing our automation strategy to ensure the highest levels of quality for our API platform. If you have a strong background in quality assurance, a deep understanding of automation tools, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

  1. Develop and implement automation strategy for the API platform to ensure high levels of quality.
  2. Create and maintain automated test scripts to effectively and efficiently test the API platform.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for automation.
  4. Conduct thorough and rigorous testing of the API platform to identify and report any defects or issues.
  5. Continuously monitor and improve the automation process to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Work closely with development and product teams to understand product requirements and ensure that they are met.
  7. Perform root cause analysis of any issues or defects found during testing and provide recommendations for resolution.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation tools and techniques.
  9. Train and mentor junior quality specialists on automation best practices and processes.
  10. Communicate and report on quality metrics and progress to stakeholders and management.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
  12. Participate in code and design reviews to provide insights on potential quality issues.
  13. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the API platform's quality.
  14. Continuously improve and maintain the overall quality assurance process for the API platform.
  15. Contribute to the overall quality culture and mindset within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Automation Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Automation Testing, With A Strong Understanding Of Testing Tools And Frameworks Such As Selenium, Cucumber, And Testng. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Efficient Automation Test Suites For Api Platforms.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Api Testing: As A Senior Quality Specialist For Api Platform At Sap Integration Suite, The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Api Testing Methodologies And Best Practices. They Should Be Well-Versed In Testing Restful And Soap Apis, And Have Experience With Tools Like Postman, Soapui, And Jmeter.

  • Strong Programming Skills: The Role Requires Proficiency In Programming Languages Like Java, Python, Or C# To Develop And Maintain Automation Scripts. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Version Control Systems Like Git And Be Familiar With Agile Development Methodologies.

  • Familiarity With Sap Integration Suite: Sap Integration Suite Is A Complex And Comprehensive Platform, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working With It. They Should Be Familiar With The Various Components Of The Suite, Such As Sap Cloud Platform Integration, Api Management, And Process Orchestration.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Quality Specialist, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Issues And Troubleshoot Them Effectively. They Should Also Be Able To Work Independently And Proactively Identify Potential Areas For Improvement In The Testing Process.
