- Develop and implement information security strategies and policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current security measures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate any potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security protocols are implemented and maintained across all departments.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends to proactively identify and address potential risks.
- Develop and deliver training and educational programs to promote information security awareness and best practices.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct investigations and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the protection of critical systems and data.
- Communicate and report on security and compliance status to senior management and stakeholders.
Extensive Knowledge Of Information Security Standards And Regulations: A Senior Information Security Compliance Specialist At Sap Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Global Information Security Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 27001, Gdpr, And Nist, To Ensure Compliance With Applicable Laws And Regulations.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Information Security Policies And Procedures: This Role Requires The Ability To Develop And Implement Effective Information Security Policies And Procedures That Align With Industry Best Practices And Comply With Legal And Regulatory Requirements.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Senior Information Security Compliance Specialist Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Information Security Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Compliance Initiatives.
Audit And Risk Management Experience: In Order To Effectively Assess And Mitigate Information Security Risks, This Role Requires Experience With Conducting Audits, Risk Assessments, And Vulnerability Assessments, As Well As Developing Remediation Plans To Address Identified Risks.
Relevant Certifications: Sap May Require Candidates For This Role To Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Crisc To Demonstrate Their Expertise In Information Security Compliance And Risk Management.
