  1. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Go code for SAP's Unified Metadata Service.
  2. Collaborate with a team of talented developers to design and implement innovative solutions for our customers.
  3. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Go development to continuously improve our products.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code and provide timely resolutions.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, UX design, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality software.
  7. Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides.
  8. Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-up meetings, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Go Programming Language: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Go, Along With A Strong Understanding Of Its Concepts, Syntax, And Best Practices.

  • Proficiency In Developing Microservices: As A Senior Go Developer For Unified Metadata Service, The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Building Microservices And Deploying Them On Cloud Environments Like Kubernetes.

  • Experience With Api Design And Development: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Designing And Developing Restful Apis Using Go, Following Industry-Standard Practices Like Versioning, Authentication, And Error Handling.

  • Familiarity With Cloud Technologies: Sap Is A Leading Cloud Computing Company, And The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Cloud Technologies Like Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform, Along With Experience In Deploying Applications On Them.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Debugging Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Troubleshooting Complex Issues And Debugging Applications Built With Go. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Performance Bottlenecks And Optimize The Code Accordingly.
