  1. Design, develop, and implement DevOps solutions for SAP Sovereign Cloud infrastructure.
  2. Utilize state-of-the-art tools and technologies to optimize and automate cloud infrastructure processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
  4. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving any issues.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in DevOps and SAP technology.
  7. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the cloud infrastructure.
  8. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  9. Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  12. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps process.
  13. Collaborate with the development team to support their deployment and testing needs.
  14. Take ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  15. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to the cloud infrastructure.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Devops: A Senior Devops Engineer At Sap Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Devops, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Implementation Of Devops Practices In Large Scale Projects.

  • Proficiency In Sap Technologies: As A Senior Devops Engineer At Sap, A Strong Understanding Of Sap Technologies Such As Sap Hana, Sap Cloud Platform, And Sap Business Suite Is Essential. In Addition, Experience In Managing Sap Landscapes In A Cloud Environment Is Highly Desirable.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Platforms: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Platforms, Including Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud. They Should Also Have Experience In Designing And Implementing Cloud-Based Solutions For Enterprise Applications.

  • Strong Automation Skills: A Senior Devops Engineer Should Possess Strong Automation Skills, Including Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Python, Ruby, And Powershell. They Should Also Have Experience In Using Configuration Management Tools Like Chef, Puppet, Or Ansible.

  • Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills. They Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Lead A Team Of Devops Engineers In Implementing And Maintaining Devops Processes.
