- Design and implement reliable, scalable, and secure Azure infrastructure for our applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DevOps processes and best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment and configuration management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Azure technology to continuously improve our infrastructure.
- Work closely with developers to support the deployment and integration of new features and updates.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of our Azure infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security measures for our applications and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and act as a subject matter expert for all things related to Azure.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
- Continuously optimize and streamline our Azure infrastructure for improved performance and cost-efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, address questions and concerns, and gather feedback for future improvements.
Extensive Experience With Azure Cloud Services: A Senior Devops Engineer At Sap Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With Various Azure Cloud Services, Including Azure Devops, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Active Directory, And Azure Storage.
Proficiency In Automation And Scripting: The Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Automation Tools And Scripting Languages Such As Powershell, Python, And Bash. A Successful Candidate Should Be Able To Design And Implement Automated Processes To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Manual Effort.
Knowledge Of Ci/Cd Pipelines: A Senior Devops Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Continuous Integration And Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd) Pipelines And How To Implement Them In A Cloud Environment. This Includes Experience With Tools Such As Jenkins, Azure Devops, And Git.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Position Requires The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues And Identify Root Causes Quickly. A Senior Devops Engineer Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Work Under Pressure To Resolve Critical Issues.
Experience With Agile Methodologies: Sap Follows Agile Methodologies In Its Software Development Process, And A Senior Devops Engineer Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. This Includes Understanding Of Agile Principles, Tools, And Practices, Such As Scrum, Kanban, And Agile Project Management Tools.
