SAP is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive (AE) to join our team and help drive growth in the public sector market. As a Senior AE, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients in the public sector, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the public sector landscape.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth in the public sector market.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the public sector, including government agencies and other organizations.
  3. Identify new business opportunities, including potential clients and partnerships, and develop effective strategies to pursue them.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within SAP to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services to clients.
  5. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and developments in the public sector.
  6. Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively pitch and close sales deals.
  7. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
  8. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.
  9. Continuously develop and maintain a deep understanding of SAP solutions and how they can benefit clients in the public sector.
  10. Represent SAP at industry events and conferences to promote the company's products and services.
  11. Act as a thought leader and advocate for SAP's solutions in the public sector market.
  12. Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure their success and growth within the company.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Sales Experience: A Senior Ae At Sap Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Public Sector. This Experience Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets And Managing Complex Sales Cycles.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Public Sector Market: The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge Of The Public Sector Market, Including Government Agencies, Education Institutions, And Non-Profit Organizations. This Knowledge Should Include An Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Regulations That Govern This Sector.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Senior Ae, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Delivering High-Level Presentations And Proposals To Key Decision-Makers In The Public Sector. Therefore, Strong Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Senior Ae Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Develop Solutions That Meet The Specific Needs Of Public Sector Clients. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving Abilities And The Ability To Understand Complex Business Challenges.

  • Team Management Skills: The Senior Ae Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Aes And Ensuring They Are Meeting Their Sales Targets. Therefore, Strong Team Management Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
