  1. Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
  2. Provide guidance and support to business units in regards to revenue recognition processes and procedures.
  3. Analyze and review contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for revenue recognition.
  5. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to revenue recognition.
  6. Monitor and track revenue recognition metrics and provide regular reporting to management.
  7. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  9. Participate in revenue recognition-related projects and process improvements.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on revenue recognition processes and procedures.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
  12. Continuously strive to improve revenue recognition processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all revenue recognition activities.
  15. Uphold the company's values and promote a positive work culture within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Swiss Gaap And Ifrs: A Revenue Recognition Senior Specialist Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Both Swiss Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And International Financial Reporting Standards (Ifrs) In Order To Accurately Apply Revenue Recognition Principles In Compliance With Local Regulations.

  • Experience With Complex Revenue Recognition Scenarios: Sap Operates In A Highly Complex Business Environment, And The Revenue Recognition Senior Specialist Should Have Experience In Handling Complex Transactions, Such As Multiple Element Arrangements, Software And Service Combinations, And Long-Term Contracts.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Revenue Recognition Involves Analyzing And Interpreting Complex Data And Contracts, And The Senior Specialist Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Potential Issues Or Discrepancies.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: The Revenue Recognition Senior Specialist Will Work Closely With Various Departments, Such As Sales, Legal, And Finance, To Ensure Accurate Revenue Recognition. Therefore, Strong Collaboration And Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
