1. Provide legal guidance and support to the business operations of SAP in the APJ region.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the APJ region.
3. Stay up-to-date on changes in regulatory landscape in the APJ region and proactively communicate potential impacts to the business.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stay informed of any changes or updates to regulations.
5. Conduct thorough research and analysis of regulatory requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate any potential risks.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of the business.
7. Review and approve marketing materials, contracts, and other legal documents for compliance with regulations.
8. Train and educate employees on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
9. Act as a liaison between SAP and external legal counsel, as needed.
10. Monitor and track any legal and regulatory developments that may impact SAP’s operations in the APJ region.
11. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify areas for improvement.
12. Act as a point of contact for any regulatory inquiries or audits.
13. Communicate any potential legal or compliance issues to senior management and provide recommendations for resolution.
14. Champion ethical and legal standards within the organization and promote a culture of compliance.
15. Maintain accurate and organized records of all regulatory compliance activities.
16. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to regulatory compliance.
17. Represent SAP in industry and regulatory forums and provide expert insights on regulatory matters.
18. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in regulatory compliance and share knowledge with the team.
19. Collaborate with global legal and compliance teams to ensure consistency and alignment with company-wide policies and procedures.
20. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
