- Lead the design strategy for our innovative products, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
- Drive the user experience design process from concept to launch, including research, prototyping, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create robust design systems and guidelines to maintain consistency across products and platforms.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and stay updated on industry best practices and trends.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of our products through user testing and data analysis.
Extensive Experience In Product Design: A Principal Product Designer At Sap Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing Complex Software Products. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ux Design Principles, User Research, And Prototyping Tools.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing A Team Of Designers. They Should Be Able To Mentor And Guide Other Designers, While Also Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Such As Product Managers And Engineers.
Knowledge Of Design Thinking: As Sap Is A Design-Driven Organization, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Design Thinking Methodologies And Be Able To Apply Them In Their Work. They Should Be Able To Identify User Needs, Define Problem Statements, And Come Up With Innovative Solutions.
Experience In Enterprise Software Design: Sap Primarily Caters To Enterprise Clients, So The Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing Enterprise-Grade Software. This Includes Understanding Complex Workflows, Designing For Scalability, And Considering Factors Such As Security And Compliance.
