  1. Design and develop high-quality and efficient backend systems using Java/JEE for SAP's enterprise software solutions.
  2. Utilize your expertise in data structures and algorithms to ensure optimal performance and scalability of backend systems.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of backend developers to deliver high-quality code and meet project deadlines.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate SAP's backend systems.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Implement best practices and coding standards to maintain a high level of code quality and ensure code maintainability.
  8. Participate in code reviews to provide feedback and ensure code meets quality standards.
  9. Communicate project updates, progress, and any potential roadblocks to the project manager and team members.
  10. Take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion within the given timelines.
  11. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless integration of the front-end and back-end systems.
  12. Continuously monitor and improve the performance of backend systems to ensure a smooth user experience.
  13. Adhere to security protocols and data protection regulations in the development of backend systems.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert for backend development and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  15. Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team to facilitate professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Java/Jee Development: A Lead Backend Developer At Sap Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Java And The Java Enterprise Edition (Jee) Framework. They Should Be Able To Design, Develop, And Maintain Complex Backend Systems Using These Technologies.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Data Structures And Algorithms: The Role Of A Lead Backend Developer At Sap Requires A Strong Understanding Of Data Structures And Algorithms. This Includes The Ability To Optimize Code For Performance, Efficiency, And Scalability.

  • Experience With Backend Development In A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working On Backend Development Projects In A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Enterprise Architecture, Security, And Scalability.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Lead Developer, This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team And Manage Projects Effectively. This Includes Strong Communication Skills, The Ability To Mentor And Guide Team Members, And Experience With Project Management Methodologies.

  • Knowledge Of Sap Technologies: While Not Required, Experience With Sap Technologies, Such As Sap Hana, Sap Cloud Platform, Or Sap S/4Hana, Is A Plus For A Lead Backend Developer At Sap. This Knowledge Can Help The Candidate Better Understand The Company's Products And Services And Contribute To The Development Of Innovative Solutions.
