  1. Develop and maintain our Customer Data Platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and support CI/CD processes for the platform.
  3. Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using modern DevOps tools and techniques.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  5. Continuously improve and optimize the CI/CD process to ensure efficient delivery of customer data.
  6. Work closely with development teams to identify and address any bottlenecks or issues in the software delivery process.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps to help drive innovation and improve processes.
  8. Communicate with stakeholders and provide technical guidance on the use and capabilities of the Customer Data Platform.
  9. Document and maintain technical specifications and standard operating procedures for the platform.
  10. Participate in the on-call rotation to provide support for production incidents and escalations.
  11. Contribute to the overall technical direction and strategy for the Customer Data Platform.
  12. Mentor and train junior team members on DevOps processes and best practices.
  13. Identify and implement security measures to protect customer data and comply with data privacy regulations.
  14. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to integrate new tools and technologies into the DevOps process.
  15. Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Ci/Cd Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate For The Ci/Cd Devops Engineer Role At Sap Should Have Strong Knowledge And Experience With Various Ci/Cd Tools And Technologies, Such As Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Etc. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices.

  • Experience With Customer Data Platform (Cdp) Implementation: Sap Is Looking For A Candidate Who Has Prior Experience In Implementing And Managing Cdps For Enterprise Customers. They Should Have A Clear Understanding Of Customer Data Management And Data Security, And Be Able To Design And Implement Scalable And Robust Cdp Solutions.

  • Strong Coding And Scripting Skills: A Ci/Cd Devops Engineer At Sap Should Have Excellent Coding And Scripting Skills, With Hands-On Experience In Languages Like Python, Ruby, Java, Etc. They Should Also Be Familiar With Infrastructure Automation Tools Like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Etc.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Platforms: As Sap Is A Cloud-Based Company, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Cloud-Based Solutions For Deploying And Managing Cdps.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Ci/Cd Devops Engineer At Sap Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Qa, And Operations. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Clearly Communicate Technical Concepts And Work Well In A Team Environment.
