Understand changes in business and regulatory environments to ensure compliance. Work with sales, field pricing, controlling, legal and contracts to ensure license agreements are structured in accordance with SAP's Revenue Recognition and IFRS15 policies. Act as the single point of contact in complex revenue recognition matters and critical non-routine transactions, proactively proposing alternative, more preferable or simpler transaction setup or deal structures. Promote the idea of One Deal Support and ensure business partnering with the leader of their assigned Market Unit Sales team. Engage in all lines of business and gain and understanding of the end-to-end process sales process. Perform controls and procedures related to the monthly close. Keep current on the latest Revenue Recognition training content & programs. Develop a strong relationship with the assigned regional Market Unit and provide training and guidance on new policies.
