
Vice President, Infrastructure Resiliency
Santander Bank N.A. is seeking an experienced, visionary Vice President, Infrastructure Resiliency to lead our global efforts to ensure the enterprise’s ongoing resilience and business continuity. Our ideal candidate will be a thought leader and a strategic problem-solver, able to collaborate with the executive team and stakeholders across our organization to develop and implement a comprehensive resiliency strategy. The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of risk management and compliance. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to contribute to the success of Santander Bank N.A. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system architecture, and/or operations• 5+ years of experience in developing and overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity plans • Proven track record of leading successful IT or business continuity projects• In-depth knowledge of security controls and compliance requirements • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex challenges • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global resiliency strategy across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with the executive team and stakeholders to ensure ongoing resilience and business continuity.
- Track and monitor resiliency initiatives to ensure compliance with risk management and security controls.
- Lead successful IT or business continuity projects.
- Analyze industry trends and recommend adjustments to the resiliency strategy.
- Engage with customers and vendors to ensure service availability and performance.
- Educate and train internal teams on risk management and compliance requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of resiliency initiatives and develop solutions to complex challenges.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to the executive team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
