Job Description

Santander Bank N.A is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Risk Intern, Compliance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the oversight and monitoring of key risk and compliance processes and procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience in the banking and risk management industry and make an immediate impact.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of banking risk management principles, be a self-starter, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Specifically, the Risk Intern, Compliance will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the oversight and monitoring of key risk and compliance processes and procedures.
  2. Monitor and assess compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  3. Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and provide guidance on related matters.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and programs.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all regulatory and compliance activities.
  6. Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations on an ongoing basis.
  7. Participate in internal audits of risk and compliance processes.
  8. Conduct research and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of risk.
  9. Prepare reports on key findings and present them to senior management.
  10. Provide advice and guidance on compliance-related issues.
