AWS Cloud Sr Auditor

Santander Bank N.A is looking for an experienced and highly motivated AWS Cloud Sr Auditor to join our IT Audit team. Our ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of both traditional IT audit and cloud security and be passionate about staying up to date with the latest security trends.The AWS Cloud Sr Auditor will work closely with our IT Audit team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as our banking policies and procedures. This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to present complex security concepts in a straightforward manner.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Audit and cloud security. Experience with AWS Cloud Auditing tools such as CloudCheckr and Cloud Custodian, as well as knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, is highly desirable.We are looking for an individual who can take ownership of this role, is highly organized, and can work independently to ensure the security of our bank's cloud environment. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and review cloud security compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and banking policies and procedures.
2. Review and audit cloud security related activities and processes.
3. Identify any security risks and potential vulnerabilities in the cloud environment.
4. Monitor and report on security-related incidents and take appropriate action.
5. Ensure the security of the bank’s cloud environment and maintain the security of sensitive data.
6. Provide guidance and best practices for cloud security and risk management.
7. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure security best practices are being followed.
8. Perform periodic reviews of security policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness.
9. Utilize AWS Cloud Auditing tools such as CloudCheckr and Cloud Custodian.
10. Provide training and educational resources on cloud security to internal stakeholders.
