Job Description

Sanmina Corporation is looking for an experienced Sr. Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately negotiating and purchasing goods and services from external vendors. Our ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a successful track record of sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier relationships. You should possess the ability to take initiative and be a strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with potential vendors to ensure the best pricing and terms for goods and services.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of quality products and services.
  3. Monitor and analyze market conditions and trends for opportunities to improve purchasing processes.
  4. Manage purchase orders, including monitoring delivery timelines and tracking orders.
  5. Monitor and review vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  7. Create and maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities.
  8. Stay informed of industry trends and new product developments.
  9. Research and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
