PCB Layout Engineer

This position will design multilayer, controlled-impedance printed circuit boards for leading edge Multichip Memory Packages (MCP) based on DDR3, DDR4, and NAND Flash memory technologies. Candidate will use state of the art PCB layout tools such as Mentor Expedition and Cadence Allegro to design boards meeting very critical design and signal integrity constraints. He or she will work closely with hardware design, simulation, and manufacturing engineers to define and implement PCB routing and manufacturability constraints. Candidate will work closely with PCB fabrication companies to ensure impedance design targets are met while meeting manufacturability constraints for high volume production. Candidate will be responsible for generating all engineering documentation required to fabricate the PCB designs including ECOs, gerber databases, and fab drawings.
