Mechanical engineer responsible for all aspects of design, analysis, and evaluation of the components for a disk drive system. Design using CAD, FEA, and confirm design performance and correlation to simulations. Will plan and execute evaluations using various laboratory test equipment, perform data analysis and report test results, run tolerance analyses, optimize designs, perform failure analysis on problems and develop solutions. Will manage suppliers, supplier processes, and work with internal manufacturing to produce high volume, high yield, and cost effective products. Will work cross-functionally within the development organization, manufacturing engineering, and procurement.
