
Firmware Technologist
Design and develop quality firmware using best practices like Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, and Agile methods. Debug firmware issues in a complex embedded system using emulators, scripts, and internal tools. Play a key role in the HDD firmware development through cutting-edge design and development that underpins the majority of our HDD firmware. Develop quality firmware using best practices like Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodologies. Participate in the development of Build and other firmware tools development. Collaborate with a team of Firmware Developers that are responsible for generating optimal firmware solutions. Debug firmware issues in a complex embedded system using emulators, scripts, and internal tools. Opportunity to have direct hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.
10+ yrs of related experience
Previous experience working on operating systems (Real-time OS is a plus)
Experience working directly on emulators is a plus (GreenHills emulator usage desired)
Storage industry background (HDD preferred)
Proven ability to solve technical issues
