
Grid Outage Coordination Supervisor
San Diego Gas & Electric is looking for a motivated, highly organized, and reliable individual to join our team as an Grid Outage Coordination Supervisor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the coordination of all activities associated with planned and unplanned electric grid outages. We are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus at least four years’ experience in outages coordination. Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code and other applicable regulations is a must. You must also possess strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as proficient computer skills. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination of all electric grid outages, both planned and unplanned.
- Prioritize tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, such as the National Electric Safety Code.
- Analyze data and make sound decisions in a timely manner.
- Manage resources and personnel to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Monitor progress and report regularly to management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Utilize strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure the success of the team.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
