Distribution Planning Manager
As the Distribution Planning Manager at San Diego Gas & Electric, you will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s short and long-term planning of electricity distribution networks. You will be in charge of developing and maintaining policies and plans that promote reliability and safety in the distribution network.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the principles of electrical engineering and related technologies. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working with complex data sets. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the company’s short and long-term planning of electricity distribution networks.
- Develop and maintain policies and plans that promote reliability and safety in the distribution network.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to electrical engineering and related technologies.
- Solve complex problems related to electricity distribution networks.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team to achieve goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of the distribution plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of distribution plans.
- Identify areas of improvement in the distribution network.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Or Related Field
Advanced Degree Preferred
+ Years Of Progressively Responsible Related Experience
Experience With Demand Forecasting
Energy Management Systems
And/Or Resource Planning
Knowledge Of Energy Distribution Systems
Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards And Compliance Processes
