Raw Material Buyer

Raw Material Buyer is responsible for entire supply chain of semiconductor raw materials, from vendor selection/setup through price negotiation, purchase order creation, order tracking, days of stock management and vendor management. Raw Material Buyer role includes a combination of the following: PO creation. Stock management for optimal days of inventory (shortage and scrap prevention). Order tracking and follow-up. Local price negotiation. Identify and execute cost savings projects. Contract negotiation and revision. Forecast review and management with Engineering. Vendor selection and setup. Vendor management, including Corrective Action issuance/ and potentially site visits/audits. Management of non-conforming material through RMA process. Continuous improvement projects for systems and processes.
