  1. Develop and implement state-of-the-art yield simulation techniques for advanced packaging processes.
  2. Collaborate with a team of engineers to optimize yield and performance for Samsung's advanced packaging solutions.
  3. Utilize your strong background in semiconductor yield simulation to identify and troubleshoot potential issues in the production process.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in yield simulation technology to continually improve and innovate our processes.
  5. Work closely with other departments, such as design and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of yield simulation techniques.
  6. Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to improve yield and reduce costs.
  7. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of yield simulation processes and results.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers on yield simulation techniques and best practices.
  9. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of yield simulation techniques.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential risks or challenges in the yield simulation process and propose solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Advanced Packaging Technologies: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Experience In Advanced Packaging Technologies, Including System-In-Package (Sip), 3D Packaging, And Heterogeneous Integration.

  • Expertise In Yield Simulation Techniques: The Principal Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Yield Simulation Methodologies And Tools, Such As Monte Carlo Simulations, To Accurately Predict And Optimize Yield Performance For Advanced Packaging Processes.

  • Proficiency In Statistical Analysis And Data Interpretation: The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Large Datasets To Identify Trends And Patterns Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Statistical Background And Be Proficient In Using Tools Like Jmp Or Minitab.

  • Experience In Process Optimization And Improvement: The Principal Engineer Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Optimizing And Improving Advanced Packaging Processes To Achieve Higher Yields And Reduce Costs. This Requires A Strong Understanding Of Process Engineering Principles And Experience In Driving Process Improvement Projects.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Principal Engineer Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing Projects Related To Advanced Packaging Yield Simulation. Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Are Essential For This Role.
