
Market Development Manager
Currently seeking a Sr. Manager of Market Development reporting to a Regional Sales Director who will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with existing carrier and dealer partners while developing new strategic business partners in organization’s top revenue markets. Leverage key insights and market data to develop and recommend specific and targeted sales programs and at time marketing programs to drive market specific revenue & market share. Will own and lead monthly, weekly, and quarterly reporting and executive communication of program execution specific to Market and impact of initiatives to revenue. Manage a team of 3pl resources indirectly through partnerships and expectations management targeted at driving revenue growth through small business channels (SMB) a new growth strategic initiative. Calculate and evaluate ROI to continually refine investment strategy in order to maximize resources.
12-15 years in sales and sales management across large geographies
Demonstrated track record of leveraging critical data to support sales strategies and forecast opportunities in localized markets
Experience working with National Retailers and/or National Carrier Operators preferred
Experience collaborating with and influencing senior executives across large matrixed organizations
