- Develop and implement maintenance plans for all facilities within the company.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
- Work closely with the Facilities team to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to daily operations.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance schedules and repair history.
- Proactively identify potential issues and troubleshoot any maintenance problems that may arise.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to obtain quotes and schedule repairs and installations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities maintenance to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Train and supervise junior maintenance staff to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Act as a liaison between the Facilities team and other departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
- Participate in departmental meetings and provide input on ways to improve facility operations.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and streamline maintenance processes and procedures.
Experience In Facility Maintenance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Maintenance, With Knowledge Of Equipment And Systems Typically Found In A Large Manufacturing Facility.
Strong Organizational Skills: The Role Of A Maintenance Planner Requires Excellent Organizational Skills To Manage Maintenance Schedules, Prioritize Tasks, And Coordinate With Various Departments To Ensure Timely Completion Of Work Orders.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Procedures Related To Facility Maintenance Operations, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards.
Proficient In Computer Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Computer Skills, Including Proficiency In Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Cmms), And Other Software Programs Used For Planning, Scheduling, And Tracking Maintenance Activities.
