Develops tool metrics to analyze equipment performance and reliability. Oversees maintenance and repair of equipment to support production goals; plans PMs (priority, scheduling, performance, documentation, reliability). Participates in complex machine failure modes, providing advanced troubleshooting. Provides equipment redesign ideas to improve capabilities of existing equipment. Maintains and adds controlled documentation for corrective and preventative maintenance procedures. Serves as team member on process-directed teams to represent equipment ownership on multiple tool sets. May participate in Task Force Teams. Develops and maintains cost of ownership program for each tool and utilizes program to provide cost reduction opportunities. Develops improved processes to increase capability.
