  1. Perform tire and battery installations and maintenance for Sam's Club members.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with members and addressing any concerns or issues related to their vehicles.
  3. Ensure all work is performed in a timely manner and meets high-quality standards.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  5. Keep accurate records of all services performed and maintain inventory levels for tires and batteries.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and advancements.
  7. Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete tasks and improve overall performance.
  8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, attendance, and work standards.
  9. Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
  10. Represent Sam's Club in a professional and positive manner, promoting the company's values and mission.
  11. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the business, including weekends and evenings.
  12. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to the automotive industry.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Automotive Maintenance And Repair: A Qualified Tire & Battery Technician Should Have A Strong Background In Automotive Maintenance And Repair, With A Focus On Tires And Batteries. This Includes Knowledge Of Tire And Battery Brands, Types, Sizes, And Installation Techniques.

  • Knowledge Of Vehicle Systems And Components: In Addition To Tires And Batteries, A Tire & Battery Technician Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Vehicle Systems And Components, Such As Brakes, Suspensions, And Electrical Systems. This Knowledge Is Essential For Diagnosing And Addressing Any Potential Issues With Customer Vehicles.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Customer-Facing Role, A Tire & Battery Technician Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes The Ability To Interact With Customers In A Friendly And Professional Manner, As Well As Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Individuals.

  • Physical Stamina And Dexterity: This Job Requires Physical Labor, Including Lifting Heavy Tires And Performing Manual Tasks Such As Tire Mounting And Balancing. A Qualified Candidate Should Have The Physical Stamina And Dexterity To Perform These Tasks Without Difficulty.

  • Flexibility In Scheduling: As A Part-Time Position With Flexible Hours, A Tire & Battery Technician Should Have The Ability To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Evenings And Weekends. This Flexibility Is Necessary To Accommodate The Needs Of Customers And The Demands Of The Job.
