  1. Perform tire and battery maintenance services for members' vehicles, including tire rotations, balancing, and repairs, as well as battery checks and replacements.
  2. Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues with tires and batteries.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections of members' vehicles to identify any potential problems or areas of concern.
  4. Communicate effectively with members to explain recommended services and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  6. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself and your team members.
  7. Keep up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of services and tasks.
  9. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
  10. Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and professionalism at all times.
  11. Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
  12. Attend training and workshops as required to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for Sam's Club Automotive, promoting the company's values and services to members.
  14. Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Tire And Battery Service: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Tire And Battery Maintenance, Repair, And Installation. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Tire Sizes, Types, And Brands, As Well As Understanding Of Battery Types And Charging Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Automotive Mechanics: A Strong Understanding Of Automotive Mechanics Is Crucial For This Role. Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Braking Systems, Suspension, And Steering Components, As Well As Experience In Diagnosing And Repairing Common Automotive Issues.

  • Punctuality And Reliability: As A Tire And Battery Technician, Candidates Must Be Able To Work Efficiently And Meet Deadlines. They Should Also Be Able To Follow Schedules And Work Well Under Pressure, As This Role Can Often Involve Servicing Multiple Vehicles In A Short Amount Of Time.

  • Customer Service Skills: Working In A Retail Environment, Candidates Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers. This Includes Providing Friendly And Professional Service, Answering Questions, And Addressing Any Concerns Or Issues.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability: This Job Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring Candidates To Lift Heavy Tires And Batteries, Stand For Long Periods Of Time, And Perform Repetitive Tasks. Therefore, Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
