Welcome to Sam's Club Automotive! We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tire & Battery Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing tire and battery installation, maintenance, and repair services. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the automotive industry and a strong understanding of tire and battery systems.   1. Perform tire and battery installation, maintenance, and repair services with a high level of skill and efficiency.
  2. Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  3. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of tire and battery systems and provide accurate recommendations to customers.
  4. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to properly install and repair tires and batteries.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers to explain services and address any concerns or questions.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of both customers and fellow team members.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tire and battery technology.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience And Knowledge Of Tire And Battery Installation Techniques: This Includes Familiarity With Various Tire Sizes And Types, As Well As The Ability To Safely And Correctly Install And Balance Tires On Different Types Of Vehicles. Knowledge Of Battery Installation And Maintenance Is Also Essential.

  • Understanding Of Automotive Systems And Components: A Tire & Battery Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Automotive Systems And Components, Including Engine Components, Brakes, Suspension, And Steering. This Knowledge Is Important For Identifying And Addressing Potential Issues During Tire And Battery Installations.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of Sam's Club, A Tire & Battery Technician Should Have Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Customers, Answer Questions, And Provide Recommendations For Tire And Battery Purchases.

  • Attention To Detail And Safety: Tire And Battery Installations Require Attention To Detail To Ensure Proper Installation And Safety For The Customer. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Able To Follow Safety Protocols And Pay Close Attention To Details Such As Torque Specifications, Tire Pressure, And Battery Connections.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: As A Busy Retail Environment, Sam's Club Requires Tire & Battery Technicians To Work Efficiently And Quickly To Meet Customer Needs. The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks At Once Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
