- Perform tire and battery services accurately and efficiently, following company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by greeting and assisting members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires and batteries to identify any potential issues and make necessary recommendations to members.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform tire and battery repairs and replacements.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure timely completion of tasks and any potential issues are addressed promptly.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and training to provide accurate and helpful information to members as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety protocols, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance goals and metrics set by management.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by working well with others and actively participating in team meetings and trainings.
Experience In Tire And Battery Installation: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Installing And Servicing Tires And Batteries, Either Through Previous Employment Or Relevant Training Programs.
Knowledge Of Automotive Systems: A Strong Understanding Of Automotive Systems, Including Tire And Battery Specifications And Maintenance Procedures, Is Essential For This Role.
Mechanical Skills: The Ability To Use Tools And Equipment To Properly Install And Balance Tires, As Well As Diagnose And Troubleshoot Battery Issues, Is Crucial For This Position.
Customer Service Skills: As A Frontline Employee, A Tire & Battery Technician Must Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills To Assist Members And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience At Sam's Club.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Tires And Batteries. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Stand, Bend, And Lift For Extended Periods Of Time.
