Staff Pharmacist (Hourly)

1. Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to members by accurately dispensing medications and providing counseling on proper usage and potential side effects.
2. Maintain a thorough understanding of all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice, including controlled substance laws.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
4. Monitor and review all prescription orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
5. Maintain accurate and complete records of all medications dispensed and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
6. Maintain inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed.
7. Provide excellent customer service to members by addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their medications.
8. Stay current with new drugs and their uses, as well as changes in regulations and industry practices.
9. Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
12. Attend continuing education programs and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice.
13. Act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a positive and respectful work culture.
14. Adhere to all company and legal policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
15. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
