- Develop and implement strategic plans for in-store events and shows that align with Sam's Club's overall business objectives and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of event coordinators to ensure the successful execution of all events and shows.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new trends and opportunities for event and show concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and merchandising, to ensure seamless execution of events and shows.
- Develop and manage event budgets and provide regular reporting on financial performance.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize event and show strategies to drive increased member engagement and satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support the execution of events and shows.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas and approaches to event and show planning.
- Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment for the Shows and Events team.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide updates on event and show strategies and performance.
Extensive Experience In Developing And Executing Successful Strategies For Shows And Events, Ideally Within The Retail Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Revenue And Profitability Through Strategic Planning And Execution.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, Including Setting Goals, Providing Guidance, And Evaluating Performance.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Trends, Consumer Behavior, And Market Dynamics Related To Shows And Events.
